Frequently Asked Questions

Before the session

Since we will be walking around and moving during the entire session, I recommend a dress that is light, and easy to move in.

Please note that it is inevitable that your dress will get dirty/damanged during the shoot (especially in autumn and winter, when it tends to rain and the floors are wet).

What kind of dress do you recommend?

I do not offer a dress rental service. Please bring the dress(es) of your choice.

do you have a dress rental service?

We will be walking on stone pavements the entire time, so I highly recommend wearing a pair of comfortable flats/sneakers/boots.

Of course, if you have a favorite pair of high-heeled shoes, please do bring them (along with flats)! We can shoot with the high-heeled shoes when appropriate, and you can wear flats while we move around.

I want to wear high-heeled shoes.

can I wear 2 dresses? or more?

Absolutely! You can wear as many dresses as you like with an additional fee of 200 euros per dress.

I have specific shots that I want you to shoot.

Great! Please send the images to me so we can create them.

where can I get a bouquet/boutonniere?

The easiest way to have a bouquet/boutonnier is to bring artificial ones (there are some very realistic artificial bouquet available recently).

If you'd like a bouquet/boutonnier with real flowers, I can arrange a delivery service in following cities: Rome, Florence, Venice, Barcelona .

A small, simple bouquet (e.g. a few tulips, etc) starts from 85 euros (including delivery).

A regular bouquet ranges from 100 to 250 euros.

Send me a photo of the bouquet that you'd like, and I can get a quote, or you can order a bouquet with your budget.

On the session day

If the rain is not too heavy, we will shoot with umbrellas. If the weather forecast indicates rain the day before, I will bring transparent umbrellas.

If the rain is too heavy to shoot outside, we will shoot inside, such as a hotel, a cafe, etc.

When our schedules permit, we can change the shooting date (but during a high season, it could be difficult).

If you want to reserve an extra day beforehand, we can arrange it with a fee.

What if it rains?

The plans do not include an assistant, but please add an assistant service if:

- your dress is long

- you wear high-heeled shoes

- the session is in winter (i.e. we need someone to carry your coat during the shoot)

Assistant fee starts from 40 euros.

If you add a hair & makeup service, the hair & makeup artist can come along to the shoot.

what should I bring?

I kindly ask you to bring as little as possible.

- A small makeup kit for touch-ups.

- A credit card

- One cell phone

Please put your valuables (a credit card or a wallet) in a wearable travel pouch so that it is invisible from outside.

In summer, please bring a bottle of water and handkerchiefs/small towels.

In winter, I highly recommend bringing a lot of hand/body warmers.

Booking

Sure! Once agreed on the shooting date,

1. I will send you a questionnaire

2. When the questionnaire is filled out, I will send you an invoice for the deposit

3. When the deposit is paid, the date is secured!

4. You can then decide on which plan to choose.

Can I secure the date first, and then decide on the plan later?

For Rome and Florence, the deposit is 200 euros.

For other cities, the deposit starts from 300 euros.

For Elopement, the deposit is 30% of the price of the plan.

HOw much is the deposit?

Yes, you can pay in installment.

what's your cancellation policy?

Here's the cancellation policy:

A. If the client decides to cancel the session, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 1 month or more before the session date, the photographer will keep the deposit.
  • 1 month to 3 days before the session date, the photographer will keep 50% of the total service fee
  • 2 days to the day of the session, the photographer will keep 100% of the total service fee

B. If the photographer cancels the service, the photographer returns the full amount paid up to the day of cancellation.

After the shoot

Of course! You can have the exact copy, or smaller version of your own album.

The main album is 30x30cm, 25x25cm, 20x20cm, but you can make additional album(s) in 15x15cm.

can I order extra albums for my family?

are you going to publish our photos on your instagram?

Since I'm a freelance and I can only keep working by publishing my work, I kindly ask you for the permission to publish your photos.

Once the online gallery is delivered to you, and if there is any photo that you do not wish to be published, you can choose which photos not to be published by clicking on the "X" icon on each photo.

I will not disclose any personal information. I "tag" you on Instagram only when you ask me to.

If you choose:

  • to allow me to publish only the photos in which it is impossible to recognize your faces, additional 10% of session fee will apply.
  • NOT to publish any photo, additional 30% of session fee will apply.

Hair & Makeup

Of course! Once all the payment is done, we will create a Whatsapp group with the hair & makeup artist so you can share images, etc and discuss your style.

can I talk to the hair&makeup artist beforehand?

how long does the hair & makeup take?

For hair & makeup, usually about 2 hours.

For hairstyling only, usually about 1 hour.

If you change your dress during the session and thus change your hairstyle/makeup too, it usually takes about 1 hour.

where do I change the dress?

We go back to your hotel to change the dress.

how much is hair & makeup?

Pricing of hair & makeup depends on the hair & makeup artist. In Rome, the following is the usual rate:

Bride hair & makeup: 450 to 750 euros

Bride hair: from 300 to 400 euros

Hairstyle change: 100 euros

Groom hair: 50 euros

Groom makeup: 50 euros
